Introduction
In this course, you will explore the ear as a powerful microsystem that reflects the body’s health and nervous system function. You will learn how active auricular points correspond to specific pathological conditions and can be used for both assessment and treatment, including reducing pain, improving mobility, and decreasing inflammation. This course will introduce the historical development of auricular therapy, including Dr. Paul Nogier’s fetus-shaped ear map and scientific validation through fMRI research. You will also be introduced to practical methods for identifying active points, from tenderness testing to the advanced vascular autonomic signal (VASE), laying the foundation for integrating auricular therapy into clinical practice.
